Directions for use: Take 1 capsule at any time of day (with or without food). Avoid taking it together with coffee, tea, and calcium supplements or calcium-rich foods such as milk, as it could contribute to a decrease in Ferrochel absorption.

If your order is destined for a country outside the European Union (Switzerland or the United Kingdom), shipping may be subject to duties, taxes, or other charges due to local and/or customs laws. We will ship your package using the Incoterm DAP (Delivered at Place), which means IVB will be responsible for delivery but will not be responsible for any customs fees or local taxes.

The person to whom the order is addressed will be responsible for all customs costs associated with the import of the products (even if they refuse the order). Please make sure they are aware of this if you are sending products to someone outside the European Union.

It is also possible that, for customs reasons, the order may be delayed.

RETURNS

Our warehouse has a security system that monitors the preparation of each and every order. This allows us to verify, in case of any issues, which product was not shipped to you or which was shipped incorrectly. In addition to being a tool for improvement, it also helps us control potential customer fraud.

The customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the return is a result of an error on the part of IVB WELLNESS LAB in sending the wrong or defective product.

In case of errors in shipments, following the advice of the authorities due to the current situation caused by the pandemic, the customer will choose the option that best suits them:

1.- A refund of the product amount to the same account in which you placed your order, applying any discounts if applicable.

2. A replacement item will be included in the next shipment, along with a small refund for the issue. When placing your new order, please inform us of the previous issue through our available communication channels.

3.- If the incorrect product(s) sent exceed 10 euros, a return shipment will be made.

4.- Products that have been opened or unsealed, regardless of whether they have been consumed or not, will not be eligible for return.

If you wish to return a product(s), please note:

If the product you wish to return was purchased through a promotional campaign, you will be refunded the promotional price, not the original price. All items must be unopened, undamaged, and in perfect condition.

We will not accept returns of products that have already been opened, damaged (regardless of whether they have been poorly protected by the customer or due to poor practices by the carrier) or without their original packaging.

REHUSO DE PEDIDOS

Rechazar el pedido en el acto de entrega o la imposibilidad de concertar la recogida por razones no atribuibles a IVB WELLNESS o al servicio de mensajería, implicará la pérdida de los costes inherentes a la compra, a saber: costes de envío (y los mismos costes de devolución) y coste del embalaje de transporte y coste de posibles roturas en el transporte.

El transportista hará dos intentos de entrega en la dirección indicada como “Dirección de entrega”. En caso de que no pueda ser entregado, el pedido quedará estacionado durante 15 días en la oficina de ‘Dirección de entrega’ más cercana, indicada en el seguimiento de las notificaciones que recibas por nuestra parte y/o por parte de nuestros partners logísticos por correo electrónico y/o por SMS. Why is it not sustained release?

Because sustained-release iron is not recommended, since what we want is to absorb iron in the duodenum, where it physiologically occurs most. If we had used a sustained-release capsule, you would be leaving the iron in the distal portions of the small intestine, making its absorption much lower and also increasing the risk of gastrointestinal intolerances (diarrhea/constipation) because a large portion of unabsorbed iron would reach the colon.

Why did we add the rest of the compounds?

To effectively replenish iron stores you need to make sure thatIt is absorbed and reaches the blood well. That's why we added:

Vitamin C:since it improves duodenal absorption by maintaining iron in its reduced form, Fe²⁺.
Copper (cupric gluconate):because it promotes the expression of proteins such as ferroportin, which are necessary for absorbed iron to leave the intestine and reach the blood.

Once absorbed, it is important to ensure that this iron is effectively incorporated into the formation of hemoproteins. That's why we have included:

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid)andVitamin B6(in its enzymatically active form, pyridoxal-5-phosphate): since they participate in the formation of coenzyme A and succinyl-CoA, compounds necessary to form the heme group of hemoproteins such as hemoglobin.
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin):It intervenes in the conversion of succinyl-CoA, which is essential for iron to be correctly incorporated into the heme group of hemoproteins.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin-5-phosphate):key to the functioning of the last enzyme needed in the heme production chain of hemoproteins.

Specifically, once hemoglobin has been formed, it contributes to the maturation of red blood cells:

Vitamin B9 (5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Quatrefolic®)andB12 (methylcobalamin):essential for DNA synthesis during the correct formation of red blood cells.

Can children and teenagers take it?

It's always best to consult your pediatrician. However, for adolescents over 14 years of age, especially girls, it can be helpful in cases of diagnosed iron deficiency.

How long should you take it?

The minimum time to effectively replenish iron reserves is 3 months (1 bottle), and it can be continued longer if iron deficiency or anemia has not resolved after that time.

In cases of chronic anemia, for example due to heavy periods, once the anemia has been resolved and to prevent it from recurring, it is recommended to continue taking the medication but with a more spaced-out schedule:

1 capsule 3 times per week, or 1 capsule daily for 2 weeks per month.

Can I take FerroPlus if I'm already taking TyroEnergy and/or Vitamin C-500, since all three contain vitamin C? Is there a risk of overdoing it?

If needed, you can take FerroPlus in addition to TyroEnergy and/or vitamin C without any issues. There is no risk of overdose, and spacing them out throughout the day will help you make the most of their benefits.

FerroPlus contains 100 mg of vitamin C per capsule, a safe amount designed to improve iron absorption in the small intestine.

Even if you are taking TyroEnergy (which contains 150mg of vitamin C) or our vitamin C supplement (which contains 500mg), you are not approaching the maximum tolerated limit of 2000 mg per day. Chronically exceeding this amount could cause digestive discomfort or increase the risk of kidney stones in predisposed individuals. However, within typical supplementation ranges, there is no real risk.

The only thing we recommend is spacing out the intake of both supplements throughout the day to:

- Optimize intestinal absorption.

- Prevent a temporary excess from being quickly eliminated through urine, as vitamin C is water-soluble.
