Hello! In today's podcast, I'm talking about the hormone MELATONIN from an unusual perspective.

I reflect on its indiscriminate use by the population to chronically "help" sleep, despite it being a hormone. Just as no one would take a hormone like insulin or glucagon lightly, why has taking melatonin become normalized?

Additionally, I'll explain where melatonin is produced (you'll be surprised to know the places where it's produced)

What functions does the hormone melatonin have besides inducing sleep

Are there risks to habitually taking melatonin?

Why if you have diabetes or fertility problems, you might not want to take melatonin chronically.

In which cases do I recommend melatonin to promote sleep?
Why in certain cases and temporarily do I recommend taking melatonin during the day?

What supplements do I prefer to recommend to help fall asleep and stay asleep?

And a few other reflections in between that you'll only know if you listen to the podcast

I hope you enjoy it, remember to subscribe and rate my work on the Podcast so I can reach more people!
